Nasal Radiofrequency Reshaping —  Breathe Freely Again

If you struggle with chronic nasal congestion, snoring, or difficulty breathing through your nose, you may have swollen nasal tissues. Nasal Radiofrequency Reshaping is a corrective surgical procedure that opens the nasal passages and septum — the wall between your nostrils — to restore clear airflow and comfort. How Nasal Radiofrequency Reshaping Works

Dr. Rotenberg performs this procedure using Coblation technique which emits radiofrequency energy to the swollen tissues and in doing so shrinks them down in a minimally invasive manner.  This is incisionless surgery.  Once they are reduced, the airway passages are more open to allow better airflow.  Sometimes a septoplasty will need to be done at the same time, which involves a single tiny incision inside the nose — leaving no external scars. The misaligned portions of cartilage and bone are carefully repositioned or trimmed to open the nasal passages.

The procedure typically takes 30–60 minutes, and most patients return home the same day.

In some cases, septoplasty can be combined with rhinoplasty for both functional and aesthetic benefits.
